Has anyone use this spray? I went to davids bridal this weekend to pick up sashes for my FGs and I saw this spray by the register. They claim it does all of the following:
BRIDAL MAKEUP FINISH
Photo-Ready Makeup Setting Spray.
Extends makeup wear and controls excess shine for fewer touch-ups. Tear and moisture resistant. Recommended for all skin types.
Features and benefits:
- Creates a luminous finish for hours.
- Fewer required “touch-ups” throughout the day.
- Extends makeup wear under high stress.
- Keeps excessive shine off makeup surface for better photography.
- Helps makeup resist heat and humidity.
- Tear/moisture resistant.
I just wanted to know if its worth buying or not

I’m snooty about stuff like this but I figure if it were really good, Sephora would carry it by now.
Makeup alley has mixed reviews

@Oneeleven: But does sephora have any type of finishing spray at all? I’ve never even heard of it before to be honest but I dont wear make very much.

The only kind ive ever heard of before was for theatre makeup. I got it for a rave to put over body paint and it worked pretty well even through hours of sweaty dancing and people rubbing against me, but it was SUPER tough on the skin.

I know MAC has a makeup setting mist. I’ve been waiting for this one to get restocked as it gets good reviews and is inexpensive: e.l.f. makeup mist and set.

Model in a Bottle is excellent–my dancing daughter used it for years to keep her makeup set in place under bright lights for hours during dance competitions! We like the MAC spray for regular “events” and it works well too. But, for a hot, long, sweaty day, nothing beats Model in a Bottle.

I have used both the Mac setting spray and Model in a Bottle. Model in a Bottle hands down wins and I used it for my own wedding. My makeup didn’t budge.

Mac finishing spray is awesome! Not sure about this DB one. I would prob go with MAC or a sephora one.
