I like to use MAC because they have a large variety of colors and types of foundation/powder so it’s easier to find something that matches your skin tone.

Try having a professional match the color(s) for you. Sometimes we need a blended look to match better. MAC will usually do in in-store demo. Consider Mary Kay also, you can try for free usually. I don’t use foundation daily, but I’ve seen it come out nice on darker skin tones.

Bobbi Brown for sure, i used to be a bb consultant and from your photo it looks like they have a color that would match you perfectly.  bb has a really wide range of foundation and concealor/corrector colors as well as blush.  I would go for a deep raspberry blush shade 🙂

every one swears by MAC when i am 100% certain it is not the best thing out there.  Not to mention MAC was intentended for stage makeup from the start. there are so many other options and all cosmetic companies make it for all skin tones.

that said, look at MUFE (makeup forever) sold in sephoras exclusively.  specifically, their HD foundation and their powder.  this finishes awesome in pictures and is very light. also the powder is white, and blends with any foundation.

next i would suggest Nars.  sold in norstroms and sephora.  Nars also finishes well in pictures but is a little bit heavier.

Bobbi Brown is another good one.

Less expensive, but just as well, revelon too.

Many MAC artists themselves wear these two in particular, and if you ask one that isnt trying to push product on you, they can suggest something else too.

my suggestion is go to sephora on a weekday when they tend not too be as busy, and let them find something that suits you.  make sure to tell them you are sold on one brand.

good luck.
