So I have reached the stages of trying to find a make-up artist and hair stylist but everywhere I look its super expensive. I was thinking about going to the mall and talking to the people at make-up counters at Clinique and MAC or Sephora to see if they do make-up applications on the side for cheaper.
Good idea or bad idea???

that is an excellent idea. i actually used a makeup counter at nordstrom for prom. I would check out groupon.com for getting discounts on salons. There are always 2 or 3 a week with really great coupons! good luck!!!

GREAT IDEA!!! My BFF (and BM) is a Clinique consultant, so I guess I got lucky because I have my personal consultant! But those girl do a GREAT job for a tenth of the cost!

If you ask someone at the make-up counter, many of them do make up on the side.
