@StL.Ashley:  If you don’t want to use her for hair, just say “Ill be booking you for makeup” and leave it at that. I doubt she’ll press you any further. You were smart to look at her portfolio: I have met many a hair stylist who claims to do makeup too and many a makeup artist who says they can do hair. In my experience, they are usually much better at one than the other.

I am using a “team” for my hair/makeup. They are two girls who do this as their business. One does hair, the other does makeup. However, when my step-sister used them for her wedding (that’s how I found out about them) she only hired the makeup girl. It wasn’t a problem. Just tell her you only need service for makeup.
