@808bride: I love all this stuff – when I moved in with my Fiance he found me pouring vinegar and bicarb down the sink and thought I was MAD! (I’m an eco freak! :D)

a tip from the same school of thought – if you have old style filament light bulbs – rub a bit of essential oil on the glass part with some cotton wool (or whatever) and then screw it back in when it’s switched on and warms up the smell of the oils will gently pervade the room!!

have fun!

@vicarswifeintraining:  omg so every now and then our tub drain will back up… well recently it happened and the water would just not go down. so normally I would take the drain cover off pull out the gunk ( its my hair anyways lol) pour some baking soda, salt down there, then follow with HOT water. then after that, I follow with some vinegar. Instant drain opener =)

well FH was in there for a really really long time trying to unclog this drain. I was crackin up. i told him to go downstairs and get me some hot water. by the time he came up, it was cleared. he couldnt belive i had done it myself  =0

Hi Thanks for the lemon trick!!!  I also spray the microwave with water and turn it on for 20 secs on high.  It helps soften all the mess on the microwave so it’s easier to wipe it off.

I did the lemon in the microwave thing and it totally worked. Like, nearly shit my pants because it really did just wipe clean. I’m going to tell EVERYONE! 808, you’re a genius!
