I’m sure this has already been posted, but it was new to me, so I thought I’d share.
True vintage mason jars can get really expensive, especially if you are having a big wedding you wanted to use them in…so I thought this was a cool way to make your own for a fraction of the cost!!

@Crazyhair: I painted mason jars blue for our wedding last year. There were some paint streaks, but it was definitely much cheaper than buying the blue glass jars!

2013 is the 100 year anniversary of Jarden Ball mason jars and so they have come out with a package of 6 pint size BLUE jars for about $10. I found them at Sears. Get them while they last!
