I am doing submersibles. 3 vases per table, mirror, silk hydrangea, floating candle, LED at the bottom of each, gems at the bottom of each. Came out to about $27/table.

I’m on the same page as you 2.. I’m doing a 10″ clyinder (per table) with various submerged flowers, a floating candle on top & 4 votives..

I wanted to do 2 or 3 cylinders per table, but I was worried it would be too crowded and it was getting pricey!

cylinder $4 each

floating candle $2 each

votives $1 each

flowers $3ish per table

total approximately $10  … we are having 18 tables though.. so it seemed like a lot to spend on something that’s going to only be used one night then forgotten about.. especially if I got into using 2 or 3 cylinders per table.

We’re doing our own, but they’re very minimal. My mom went a bunch of household and estate auctions and bought around 200 pieces of stemware and glass vases. We’re keeping some clear, painting some purple, some silver, and some black, and then putting ribbon around some and candles in/on top of others along with some glass marbles. All of the stemware was around $40, ribbon will be about $20, and paint is still a variable. No idea how many cans we’ll go through, but I’m guessing not more than 10, so it will be around $30 for that. I got all the candles for $15 at a closeout sale and the marbles we bought online for $25. So about $130, which will cover around 45 tables, which is around $3 per table 🙂

We’re mod podging images onto three cylindar vases on each table.  Having three smaller vases filled with brown and orange candy corn.  We’re also popping the blooms off of Purple mums and putting those on every table.

Vases-We already had from when Fiance used to work for an event rental company

Leaves-Already had

Mums-$3/mum.  Not positive about the cost yet, we’re purchasing them this week

There will be a thing of apple butter at each seat as part of their favor.  I spent $200 on all of the apples, ingredients, and canning supplies.

I made my own centerpieces with mason jars, tree branches, mushroom birds (perched on the branches) and some dirt to weigh the branches down in the jars. We ended up hot gluing the branches in the jars too, for extra stability, and used two to three branches per jar. They looked like little trees and were adorable!

Unfortunately, I don’t have any clear pictures of them at the moment. Transporting them was definitely the trickiest part, because of how tall and – well – branchy they were. We loaded them into three different cars to transport them to the venue.

Forgot the cost breakdown. The mason jars were about $13 for a set of 12, purchased on sale at Whole Foods. I paid about $30 for several dozen mushroom birds (we used them for the bouttonieres, too). The branches were free, collected by my dad over several months.

@Nicole121212:  I posted this on another thread but thought it would help you too.  The centerpieces I made sound similar to what you described, but I am not using LED lights in the bottom.  Instead, I made a bunch of mercury glass votives to scatter on the table at the bases of the centerpieces.

I got the vases on ebay – 12 sets of the 3 different heights for about $110 (here’s the link http://www.ebay.com/itm/36-Glass-Cylinder-Vases-Wedding-Centerpieces-Candles-/140466171420?forcev4exp=true&forceRpt=true)

The flowers are silk, but they are so detailed that they look real!  I found those at Michael’s.  They were a little on the pricey side, I think like $8/stem but I was able to use one stem for all 3 vases.  I also happened to get them when they were 1/2 off and had a coupon for 40% off entire purchase.  So I ended up getting a really good deal.  I was so proud of myself for this because I am not a good penny pincher (I usually leave that up to FI)!!!

The rocks are from the dollar tree – 1 bag for all 3 vases.

The mirrors & table scatter were from http://www.save-on-crafts.com/

I haven’t bought all of my candles yet but so far, I spent around $250 for all of my table decor (for 12 tables).
