Couldn’t recommend L’oréal Color Riche enough. It’s staining so lasts, and moisturising so you don’t have to layer a shiny moisturiser over your matte colour.

Shade – take some comparison snaps while you’re smiling. Some pinks whiten your teeth while others do the opposite. No one wants the opposite! Also try googling “pink and burgandy wedding” for some inspo pics (your pastel pink features). Good luck!

These are from ColourPop. Perhaps Echo Park? I also love the shade November that isn’t pictured.

If you absolutely don’t want the lipstick to budge during the wedding, get Lipsense.  It won’t move.  Apple Cider and Bombshell are pretty nude colors, and they don’t come off.  It does sting a little when you first apply it, but it’s all I use now, and I don’t notice the sting anymore. I am not a distributor, by the way.  ha ha!  I am just an addict because it actually stays put despite my terrible coffee habit.

sawall :  Really?  That is interesting.  I wear only Lipsense now because it is all that I can keep on my lips.  Did you layer it?  I use three layers and then gloss.

I think you should test out a deep red or muted red lip. With your dark hair and eyes, I don’t think it will be overpowering with bold eye makeup and will look very classic and a little “Snow White” for a winter wedding. I think only blondes have to worry about doing a bold lip and eye at the same time.

I love Bésame lipsticks, they are retro-inspired, and very rich and long lasting. And, they are available at Sephora! These could be great options for you:

Bésame Merlot:

Bésame Wild Orchid:

sawall :  How about a berry a few shades darker than your natural lip color? You could switch it up for a matte so it still brings out some warmth in your face without being overpowering. If your wedding is burgundy, I would suggest finding a pink with very little blue undertones.
