I’m from Aus too! Have a look at makeupalley.com for peer reviews on heaps of make up products (both high and low end). What works for you will depend on your skin type and the look you’re going for. makeupalley.com lets you browse by product and brand, as well as by skin and hair type and colour of reviewers. Another great site is strawberrynet.com. They ship to australia and stock HEAPS of high end and hard to find cosmetic, skin and hair products for cheaper than I have found anywhere else.

If you are using a make up artist, they should really have their own kit to use with you. If you have oily skin and are concerned about staying power, then discuss it with your artist and ask for their opinion on how to get the longest wear out of your look.

MUFE Hd Foundation(for normal skin) and MUFE Mat Velvet(for oily skin) is a great place to start. Great finish, buildable coverage. Estee Lauder Double Wear and Double Wear Light will stay on forever. Reckon Colorstay is CONSTANTLY raved about… but I personally hate the stuff. Are you using a primer? Do you have a primer? I started answering this question and just realized that we need more information. 🙂 What exactly are you trying to achieve? Are you on a budget? What type of skin do you have? Need much more info 🙂
