What mix of items would you recommend for hiding tattoos? Will most makeup artists do it for you or is that something that requires a little more finesse?

@MrsFutureG:

A lot of people have recommended Make Up For Ever’s Full Cover concealer for covering up tattoos.  I think Kat Von D might have something similar as well.

Thanks for the advice! Thankfully, mine is small, but I would rather not have it showing on our wedding day. 🙂

In need of a recommendation for a makeup artist for October 12, 2012 for my daughter’s wedding.  We need this person to come to our event location to apply makeup and false eyelashes.  We would like to arrange for a “trial” within the next couple of weeks if at all possible.  If there is someone you would recommend, please contact me at: [email protected].

I’m an African American bride with redundertones. usually nw45. I’ve tried the MUFE HD in 173. It doesn’t seem to stay well ingest and humidity with primer and urban decay setting spray. I’m havinf a destination beach wedding into carribean; it will be hot and humid. Can you recommend recommend any good foundations and spouse powders. I will be DIY bride. Also would you recommend using any kryolan foundation products

@janetsnakehole:  Ok i have a quick question! I am in my sisters wedding comming up, and i am VERY fair skinned, but i am an easy blusher and i tend to turn really red on my neck and chest when i get nervous or embarassed (which i am 99.9% positive that i will be during my Maid/Matron of Honor speech, public speaking is not my fortay)….but i tend to be pretty acne prone…..so is there a cover up that i can use on my face neck and chest to minimize the redness with out causing zit city or requiring a paint roller????

ps we are wearing black strapless dresses so i worry about getting foundation everywhere!

thanks!

I have a question. I have a air brush machine and I am concerned about the makeup for women of color because I have noticed that in some pictures their make-up looks gray and that is awful. I have been using Mally make up and I am going to use the machine and take a few pictures and see. Do you have any suggestions? What is the best makeup to use for women of color that will not cause that problem?
