I’m in a similar situation. Ulta is selling small sets of Smashbox makeup that contains everything – primer, concealer, HD foundation, and loose powder. I picked one up to have on hand just in case the MUA doesn’t show. Oh, and she does hair, too, so we’re really screwed if she doesn’t come. But we’ll have some extra curling irons, clips and hairspray and just make the best of it.

Good luck. Be sure to have some supplies on hand just in case, but know that you’ll be married at the end of the day and that all brides are beautiful!

I would start looking for another make-up artist on Tuesday. Are you looking for someone to travel or can you go into a salon? If you’re flexible enough to go to a store or salon, I’m sure you can find someone within a few days. Best of luck!

Hang in there! it’ll be ok. If you are really uncomfortable with doing your own makeup, most salons can do makeup for you for the same price (roughly – sometimes more, sometimes less) as a MUA. You should do a little research – if you are flexible and can drive to a salon the day of your wedding, you can have pretty makeup. You could even do a trial for the rehearsal dinner.
