Did you take a sample picture with you to show them what you wanted? If not, then give them a second chance with an inspiration picture. Or else check out a different makeup counter. MAC is supposed to be made for professional photography. Were the pictures you took afterward using the professional cameras/film that your photographer will be using? They are naturally going to turn out differently than non-professional pictures.

If that is not an option then check out this site for ideas:

Mojito are you getting married in the Valley? I’m doing a trial with a spa/salon up in Sedona, but I’m not much help if you’re getting married in the Valley proper.

I used Adriana Fontes for my wedding.  She did a fabulous job for my bridesmaids, my mom, and myself.  Everybody looked stunning!  None of us ended up looking like drag queens or hookers, which was my biggest fear.   🙂

Ms. Mojito – not sure if you are still looking, but Lindsay, who works at the Armani counter at Saks at the Biltmore is reallllly great. I hired Michelle Lee (you can google her) and would recommend her with some reservations. If you have any questions, you can PM me!
