Fiance and I are getting our e-pics taken this weekend. We’ll be having them done outside. There should still be some snow on the ground, yay!
Anyway, I usually wear a mineral powder foundation. Lots of bees have said not to wear mineral makeup or anything with spf for the wedding because it reflects the flash really bad.
Do you think mineral makeup would be fine to wear for our e-pics? Since they’ll be outside during the day, I think it’s pretty safe to assume our photog won’t be using flash. I really love the powder that I use, it’s light and matches my skin tone perfectly. I’ve tried to find a new liquid, light coverage foundation, but haven’t had any luck finding something I like. I plan to go to Sephora before the wedding to get some good makeup, but I ran out of time to go before our e-pics (the closests Sephora is an hour away!), so I’m kind of stuck.

@MichiganGirl24: I don’t normally wear make-up and I used mineral foundation for all of my pics (I HATE how liquid/heavier foundations feel). I didn’t notice a weird reflection, but I also didn’t wear a very heavy base (i.e. no primer, minimal coverage, etc). Also, you have to wear a lot heavier of make-up than you think. I thought I had SO MUCH make-up on, but once the photos came back it was actually not very noticable.
No make-upWith make-up

@MichiganGirl24: I wore mineral make-up for my senior pictures when graduating from college and the pictures turned out JUST fine! For my wedding, engagements, etc. etc. I wore this: http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod4550001′ defer=’defer
I strongly suggest it if you’re looking for a good liquid foundation for later on!
