Try either neutrogena or loreal’s H.I.P! I love H.I.P actually!  If you don’t mind spending more money, I love MAC’s, but I usually only use that on going out occasions because it’s pretty thick.

Makeup is something that works differently for different skin types. The reviews and experts can rave about a certain product but it might not suit you at all. You definitely have to try to know. It’s all trial and error.

MUA here..

Cover FX is a really great foundation, however it’s on the heavy side. If you want a lighter one, don’t go for this one.

Mineral foundations are my addiction lately because they let the skin breathe. I have acne problems so I switched to mineral and I love it.  My favourite is Jane Iredale (it’s really expensive) followed by Pur Minerals pressed powder foundation (very affordable).  Pur Minerals is the lightest foundation I’ve used but it covers really well.

Right now I’m using Laura Geller – her spackle primer is amazing and I like her foundation. I also use Mally mascara and eyeliners- long lasting.

I use BareMinerals the most, and love it. I keep coming back to it, even when I try others. The last other foundation I used was Urban Decay’s Naked, which was good but not really matte enough for my oily skin, even though I set it with HD finishing powder.

I’m interested in trying Revlon’s ColorStay foundation, though. Their ColorStay lipstick seems to really last, I’m thinking about wearing it at the wedding.

Estee Lauder Double Wear does not budge and has very very good coverage. I’ve gona swimming with it on and it stuck around pretty well even after that.

@amandasouthcarolina:  I was in your same situation last week.  I finally went to Sephora and bought Make Up For Ever HD foundation and have been quite satisfied.  It’s been a week of using it and I haven’t encountered any cons.

Estee Lauder Double Wear…once that stuff is on, it doesn’t go anywhere! Definitely the best foundation I’ve found. I’ve got very oily skin, and its one of the only foundations that will stay put through anything. It can be a bit thick though…they make a light version but I’ve never tried it.

@amandasouthcarolina:  try Nars Sheer Glow or Make up Forever HD they both have a great range of colors! and always go a little bit darker before going lighter if you can’t find your exact shade and blend from face-chest and everywhere in between! use powder only on t-zone to remain dewy but matte. and don’t forget primer! laura mercier and smashbox make fabulous ones.
