@jen 42713:  i think it really depends on what kind of wedding you are having. is it a very classic wedding? or a beach wedding? outdoors?

i’d love to help once i know a little more :)!

Agree with abc123joanna  – it depends on the wedding. I’m having an evening, formal wedding so I’m going darker on the eyes. If you’re having an outdoor spring wedding then the makeup would change accordingly.

@jen 42713:  I would say to her that you’re not used to wearing makeup and you want to feel comfortable.

I would suggest using some tinted moisturizer or light foundation with a bit of powder to reduce shine in photos. Mascara is a must (waterproof). Lipstick is heavy and might get on your teeth if you’re not used to it, so I would suggest using a nice pink lip gloss. Blush is good for photos as well. I would have her put a bit of eye liner on you (maybe a brown if you think black is a bit harsh) to help define your eyes in photos.

ETA: Also an eye shadow is good, go lighter depending on time of day… like you can do darker/heavier makeup for night.

Just tell her not to cake it on.

@jen 42713:  What color are your eyes….hard to tell from the pic?

Certain shadows look best with certain eye colors!
