@AllyBernard:  are you putting a powder on top of the revlon liquid foundation? Or is that just the naked foundation? Spf (zinc) can react oddly in flash.

I agree with the PP – try the powder on top of your liquid makeup – or try to get it w/o spf.  My makeup artist taught me this trick the other day.  (and btw – you look exactly like my sister in the last picture! I had a double-take moment haha!)

I’ve also heard about setting-sprays.  that might work on top of your powder makeup?

@AllyBernard:  doesnt hurt! I’ve heard you can make them at home (if you have the stuff to make it on-hand) if you want to try it asap!

this was one of the many that popped up with a quick google search:

@AllyBernard:  Does either your foundation or powder have talc? I think talc can cause flashback as well.

I used the Revlon foundation that is called photo ready or photo finish or something. It is specifically made so it doesn’t have that effect. You may also need to go a shade darker, it can be hard to tell unless you aren’t outside in direct sunlight.

@AllyBernard:  No, but I use those products if I’m going somewhere special (I usually just wear eyeliner/blush to work/daily).

My makeup artist actually used the same exact setting spray that I had from Urban Decay, though.  I didn’t get a peek at the kind of primer she used on me, but it felt the same as the one I use–they could all feel the same, though, I don’t use it that often.

I love the urban decay setting spray but Target has one by elf and it is 3 bucks and does the same exact thing. I actually like it better. I know some people disliked the bigger droplets and felt “wet” but I let it dry and sometimes even stand under the fan for a second and it dried awesome. Just a thought.

Also, like someone else mentioned, I suggest going a shade darker.

On a happy side note: I just bought (well like 2 months ago lol) one of those pink egg looking things. I think it is a beauty blender. I love it! I actually dampen it with the setting spray (which I feel like I can do because its 3 bucks) and then use Kat Von D lock it tattoo foundation. It is full coverage but when used with the setting spray and sponge it looks great and lasts all day and night.
