I had my makeup trial the other day and HATED it. I never wear makeup so maybe that’s why, but I looked absolutely ridiculous. I really don’t want to pay money for another makeup trial, and saw on here some bees suggested going to a makeup counter. Can we do that at Sears or the Bay? Just go in and ask for help with makeup??
If you have any “soft” makeup inspiration pictures, that would be awesome too!

Did you get your trial done by a a freelance makeup artist? Do you live anywhere near a MAC store or a Bay with a MAC counter? That would be my first choice. I think that they charge you $40 (ish) for a full face application and then you can use that as a credit to buy the products they used on you. I think if you just have questions about a specific product or technique they will usually help/teach you for free.
Near me they just opened a new Shoppers Drug Mart that has a “Beauty Boutique” that carries more upscale brand. You can go there to get makeup applied by someone in thye same way (pay for application, then get credit for products)
I am jealous of the US Bees that have sooo many makeup options available to them!!

Do you live in the GTA? If so, you can try sephora or holt renfrew. The MAC counter idea is good as well. I believe it’s $50 last time I checked 🙂
