How fun!  I’ve been thinking I want a very dramatic eye with minimal makeup for the rest…but I haven’t even gotten close to looking around at examples.  What’s your favorite brand of eye makeup to use?

@bridalblush:  are you familiar with Laura Mercier lipstick colors, by any chance?  They discontinued one of their colors “Quartz” and I’d love to find something similar.   It’s kind of a bronzy color with a hint of plum.

@bridalblush: Any ideas for dark purplish undereye circles? I’ve tried the green/yellow concealer and using lighter concealer with touch of foundation to even it out. I use Bare minerals now and I’ve been using the lighter shade of foundation over the area followed by my normal shade and it seems to do a decent job. I have nice pale freckled Irish skin. Thanks!

Any suggestions on mascara that don’t rub off on my eyelids? I’ve used waterproof Sephora, MAC, and Clinique mascaras, but often times my eye lashes touch my eyelids and leave marks during the day. I’ve tried using eye primer (sephora brand) too.

I’ve got the same under eye deal and hate the thick stuff is this any better or much the same? Is there another light feeling concealer?

I’ve used lemonade (benefit) & boi-ing

Photogenic (lancome)

Nars and Smashbox…

All of Bare minerals stuff for it..

then some of these smear and create streaks.
I’ve heard of Hylexin and I’m not sure about it?

I have very difficult, sensitive skin. Do you have any suggestions for a foundation that is good for sensitive, combination skin, is long lasting without looking cakey, and doesn’t have that yellow look? (My skin is very light and a neutral/cool tone, and it’s hard to find anything in the right color.)

I love MAC and Bobbi Brown. Ordering directly from their website is the cheapest way to go.
