I got married at 3pm and had to be at the church hair and make up done getting dressed at 12:30 so I had my make up done at 9:30. It just depends on what time you are doing pictures. Good luck.

Will you be taking any photos prior to the ceremony? If not, 2pm would be a fine time to get your makeup done so you won’t feel rushed. If you are taking photos before the ceremony, take into consideration the amount of time to drive from locations, and whether your makeup artist will be able to meet you onsite or not.

My ceremony began at 10am and I had my hair and makeup done at 4am in the morning! 🙂  Crazy, I know. Before the ceremony, we had fit in some games common to the Chinese cultures where the Groom and Groomsmen had to win their way into the Bride’s house. We also had about 30 min. prior to the ceremony for some wedding party photo opportunities.

Have fun!

I heard that if you have dry skin, you should get your makeup done earlier so it sets in. My makeup was applied at 9am for my 330pm wedding and I was fine! (I had super dry skin) If you have oily skin, try to get your makeup done at the very latest, right before the ceremony because you’ll grease up again.
