It looks like the foundation she chose was too dark or too rosy-toned for your skin.  It looks darker and pinker than the skin on your neck.  If she used the MUFE HD, did she use shade 117?

The eye and lip colors are beautiful, but I would definitely go back for a different foundation. The consistency is nice though, your skin looks super smooth!

I use this make up and I use 135 and I have a medium tone and sometimes i even think it is a little to dark for me in certain lights! You want to be careful of this especially in different lighting!

I would try to trade it for something lighter and with a yellow undertone rather than a pink undertone.  It’s hard to tell from pictures, obviously, but I would guess you’re maybe a 117 or 120?  I would ask to try those next time you’re in.

You always want to match your foundation to your neck (as opposed to the skin on your face).  I was tricked for so long because I have a lot of pink in my face, so I thought I had pink undertones.  It wasn’t until I really paid attention to the coloring in my neck that I realized I actually have yellow-undertones.  It was kind of a hallelujah moment for me when it came to foundation.  Now my face actually matches my neck!

Also, always make them give you samples to take home before you buy any foundation.  Put it on, go out into the natural light, and see how it looks.  You can very easily choose the wrong shade of foundation in the store because of the lighting.  I can’t tell you how many times that happened to me before I found out you could ask for samples!

foundation looks a shade darker. I had the exact same issue, ladies there can’t seem to match my foundation.

Good luck!!  And yes, they ALWAYS want to match you with a darker foundation!  It happens to me all the time.  Why is that???
