@mkewed2010: What did you tell the artist you wanted?  Sometimes it helps to bring pictures of celebrities or someone.  Perhaps more glitter/brightness on the eyes?  Falsh lashes?  I’m just making some suggestions for you, but I think you look pretty : )

I agree that you should show a picture of look that you want.  Its not dramatic enough.  You really can’t tell if you have eyeshadow on. False eyelashes are a definite.  Also I would do a different lip color.  I was originally going to do a pale pink but it washed me out.  Instead I did more of a berry which worked out great.

I think you look great! But if your thinking its not dramatic enough you should find an insparation pic or give her an idea of what you want. (darker, smoky eyes, darker lip shade etc. ) Dont worry you will look great on your wedding day.

You have great skin, BTW! I would ask the make-up artist to apply false lashes. Pick either dramatic eyes or a dramatic lip color. I think both would be overpowering! Good luck!

just stumbled upon this post.

are you Asian? (I am)  If so, you may want to find an Asian make up artist.  I am not sure if this one is Asian.  You look pretty here, but I agree with you that it’s like an everyday make up, more needs to be done to bring out the feature.

You may want to find out about double eye-lid tape (may sound weird, but it’s common for Asian)  Even if you do have creases, the tape will help to make your eyes look bigger, hence you can have more dramatic eye shadow make up.  Your eyes are a bit puffy, try massaging or drink some coffee in the beginning of the day, avoid drinking water before you go to sleep, reduce salt intake.  It will also make the eyes look bigger for your day off.  I hope you don’t get offended, because I am the one with small and veryyy puffy eyes.  πŸ™‚

Didn’t you post your DIY makeup a little while back? That looked really good. I don’t know why your MUA keeps trying to give you a fake crease. I think you should DIY since you’ve proven you can!
