BalletParker : Aside from the few minor changes, I am really happy with her work! I have an active breakout on my chin, and you can’t even tell. Makes me feel much better about any unpredictable skin issues I may have the day of 🙂
As a former MUA, do you have any lipstick recomendations in particular? Thank you so much again!

zencognitobee : I like this color on you, but I probably would have gone with my Mac Angel standby for brunettes with dramatic eyes- because it’s a pinky nude, it’s very wedding appropriate/classic unless you’re doing something really stylized. Tom Ford in Spanish-Pinks a little more pink, but looks great on brunettes with a smoky daytime eye.
A deeper pink like she tried on you, Clinique’s Chubby Stick in Pudgy Peony would be pretty or a modern purplish color, Mac huggable in commotion.
Chanel rouge coco ultra hydrating in Etienne is a darker rose almost berry color that might be close to what you’re wearing (lipstick changes colors on different people, I’m trying to go with colors I’ve used on women with your coloring but often we need to adjust for slight variations) – this could be a winner because it’s a stain with a glossy finish.
A lighter, spring/summer pink, I’d do Chanel rouge coco in Chalys and maybe mix it with Rouge allure in Gracile.
Let me know what direction you want to go in and I’ll try to fine tune!
Biggest thing is get a lip liner in same color and fill your lips in with it before you apply your lipstick.

BalletParker : Thank you for all your help! As a total makeup newb, this stuff can get pretty overwhelming so a nudge in the right direction always helps tremendously. I do really like the color she used, so if I can nail down a liner/lipstick combo that’s similar (perhaps even with a little shine) I think we’ll be golden!
I’m going to start investigating 🙂 as if I need another excuse to spend an unreasonable amount of time at Sephora!

I just wanted to chime in and say you’re super pretty!

Looks fantastic! I agree with PPs about blending the eyeshadow a little more. I would also use a coppery brown eyeliner on your lower lid to soften a little instead of black and one last nit picky thing, I’d grab some blotting papers as you’re a bit shiny in the t-zone 😊
Great job bee. You’re going to be gorgeous!

meanttobee2018 : thanks bee! My skin has changed tremendously (from super dry to combination) as I’ve gotten older, so I’m not used to dealing with oil! I will keep some blotting papers on standby day of 🙂

slomotion : oh goodness, how sweet are you? Thanks bee, you made my day!

Ohh! You look gorgeous! I’m sure you’d look gorgeous with any makeup though you are a natural beauty!

I think it’s perfect, wouldn’t change a thing. Wedding day calls for a little dramatic eye shadow 😀

bowtiegal : I agree! I am going to have her soften up the liner a bit, but other than that I love the look!

megrays : what a nice thing to say! Thank you, bee!
