I did a DIY trial earlier. And then I recently went for a pro trail to help me teach me more technique. She ended up usng plums for my eyes whereas I used brown tones. Which do you think looks better?

This is tough!! Both colors look good.. but I think the plum makes your eyes pop more! They look so bright in those photos!

Plums, definitely. They really look great with your eye colour.

I’m having a hard time deciding. I yhink I may be swayed by the shimmer of the plums, rather than the plum shade itself. I feel that I see your eyes more with the browns. If you can, do a DIY trial with a shimmery powder?

I think both would be great.
If you do go wtih the browns, I would just add a bit more shimmer by using a shimmery highlighting shade because the browns look quite matte. You should do a shimmery white/cream in the corner of your eyes, right under your brows, and right on top of your lid to blend with the contrasting shades.

I like both. I think it depends on what look you want. The plums are more fun and fresh. The browns are natural and simple beauty. Either way they both look great.

I prefer the brown and think it makes your eyes pop more than the plum, but I agree to use more shimmer. You did a very job though, im impressed!

Did she also do your foundation? Because the foundation you did looks WAY better. That’s why I’m having a tough time deciding. I think the brown doesn’t quite go with your lip and blush color though (assuming you have any on).

They both look great but the browns just make your green eyes pop more 🙂

I am more of a fan of the natural browns look for a wedding because that’s what my man likes. I think if you did go for the brown look you should brighten it up a little more.
