@forever_shine:  Do you wear makeup on a daily basis? If so yeah sure. If not I may wait for the big day.  My fiance knows how I want my makeup and hair mostly because he is so adament about how he wants it. Luckily we are on the same page! Hair down and curled….bold red/plum/pink lip, semi natural eye. Now the dress…thats totally different!

@forever_shine:  I say yes, but then my Fiance will be involved in the entire process from dress picking to hair extenstions. He won’t see the complete look until the day of, but he will know all of the pieces. I want to look beautiful to him (and yes, I know he always thinks I do) so I absolutely want his feedback.

His opinion is the only one I care about. I’m not digging the surprise element…It could be an unpleasant surprise if he would have loved to see you with a completely different look, or worse, hates the look you chose.

After spending all of that time on getting my hair and makeup done at the trial, I didn’t want them to immediately remove it so Darling Husband saw it. It was really nice to wear the hair and makeup for an extended period to really see how it held up.

@forever_shine:  Yeah I say I do it! By the time you get married he will probably forget what your hair looked like and if you are wearing a veil youll look a little different going down the aisle toward him.  Cheebs has a good point too….if you keep everything intact youll be able to see how well it holds up!

@forever_shine:  I have been asking Fiance is he likes pics of hairstyles on Pinterest, just to get an opinion. The way I’ll wear my makeup on the big day is how I’ve wore my makeup for NYE, or XMAS parties. Cat eye and red lip!! Really glam. So he knows about that. As for hair… I will probably do my updo, and ask for his opinion. Just because he is my bestfriend, and I want to know what he thinks.

I’m going to. We have a trial set up the day of our e-pics so I’ll have my face and hair all done up for the e-pics!

I will not bother to. I am not going to look that much different than I normally do. Men rarely care about stuff like that!

He was with me right after the makeup trial, so he saw the finished product in person. I wanted to see how it wore the rest of the day and we were visiting my parents so there was really no way to escape it.

I don’t remember whether Darling Husband saw my trial or not because I remember going “into town” where we got married about an hour away from home to get the trial and do some honeymoon shopping. I think he was away visiting a friend or something. But I was okay sharing peripheral details with Darling Husband, like my veil, shoes, and hair.

He was very good and knew his only choice of response was “you are pretty” when I showed him things like that. He got to choose his look, and I chose mine.

I will probably show him, I value his opinion.  I wear makeup daily though, so it’s not like me wearing makeup on our wedding day will be some huge shocker or surprise for him anyway.

I don’t see why not.  He’s seen me in makeup before.
