I Am… My trial will be done for my bridal shower..  My fiancé is going to see it eventually..I wear makeup all the time so I don’t think he would notice it to much.

I’m doing a mini-trial for the engagement shoot, so he’s going to see!  It’s not full wedding makeup, but I want to make sure my MUA understands that there is a difference between how makeup looks in person and how it photographs.  I want to make sure she can do something that looks good both in person and in pictures.  I’m also testing a half up/half down style.  I like the idea, not sure I can tolerate it for hours.  So I figure I’ll get it done for the engagement shoot and see how it looks at the end of the day.

My Fiance picked me up from my trial, so he saw my hair/makeup. I think he liked feeling involved, and I was glad he was able to give me his opinion (and I want him to like it!). He also helped me pick out my shoes. He will still be floored when it’s all put together, so I would’t worry about it ruining the surprise!

So my fiance will never remember what my make up looks like on a given day, just that he thinks I’m beautiful. Even if I said, “Babe this is the exact way my face will look on our wedding day!” He would think, “Babe, your face looks like that… everyday.”

What I’m saying is, I don’t think it will have the, “I ruined the surprise,” impact showing up in your dress could.

I voted show him… I am showing him by default.  We’ll be out of town (in the area where we’re getting married) so it will pretty much be impossible for him not to see!  I think it’s fine.  Things will look different all together anyway.

We haven’t gotten that far in the planning process, but I think it’s a good idea to show your Fiance your hair and makeup for the big day so he can tell you if he likes it or not….but that’s just my opinion. (:

I don’t think it’s super important to show him unless 1) you never wear makeup or 2) your bridal look is a radical departure from your normal makeup. My Fiance sees me made up to the nines on a daily basis, so I don’t think there’s much point in showing him.

I usually do up my makeup on a daily basis do he’s got a general idea of how it will look the day of. He always compliments my eye makeup so I’m going to make sure those really pop. 🙂

If possible yes, because I would love to have his opinion. I still want to look like me, just more.. ‘flawless’ and glowing. So I would love his opinion on it!

Well make up is make up, if you wear a lot of it or a different kind isn’t really a big deal to me..

But this is coming from a girl who showed her Fiance pictures of her dress the minute after she tried it on it to ask for his opinion. haha I just like having his opinion! It’s important to me!
