crackktheskyy: You look great! Such pretty eye color. I love that smokey look on you π Lip color seems perfect to me.

I really do love your eyes. I’m going to also suggest a different lip color. Maybe a cool color vs what I see as a warm peach color.
crackktheskyy: pretty pretty! your eyes are fantastic! I like the shade of your lip color I think it is very suiting. I think maybe a little more blush would do the trick but you look gorg!
what time are you getting married? The eye makeup is a bit heavy – pretty, but heavy, and might be too much if you’re doing a morning or early afternoon ceremony. I agree with people though that a bolder lip would be perfect π ps I love the falsies on you, looks great!!
I say it’s best to go a little heavier than you’re comfortable with. The camera will wash you out a little so the makeup won’t look so harsh on camera. The pictures are what last forever.
I love the eye makeup. I would suggest having the makeup artist adding just a touch more blush or going with a different color. Nothing too obvious but just a little something. Or using a little highlighter. Oh and like PP said the lips should be different.
MstoMrsH: Thank you so much!! π
cupcakesandwine: Thank you–you’re so sweet!
angyjaxon: Thanks! It’s more of a muddled rose color in real life, but it totally does look peachy in photos!
pisces315: Aw, thanks so much, girl! On the day of the wedding I’ll just request a touch more blush.
Chance99: Thanks! It’s an evening ceremony/reception, so hopefully I’ll be in the clear π We’re planning on partying until midnight in the venue and then taking the party elsewhere π
ilikeballet: This is the advice I’ve heard from other friends who have been married, too! Thanks π The eyeshadow isn’t quite as heavy as it looks in the second photo, either.
I think the long lashes are making it look more black than it really is! I tried to get another photo where I was like halfway shutting my eyes so that the lashes wouldn’t be in the way, but I didn’t want to blow up weddingbee with all of my selfies! After today, I have to give photographers so much credit.
NovaRising: Thanks! Y’all are so helpful! I’m so excited now. I think I only really want the minor blush/brows/lipstick tweaks so I probably won’t need to bother much with a second trial. I think this is stuff we can do the day-of!
Your eyes look beautiful – I love what she did there. I agree with some others – a bit darker on the lips and some more blush and/or bronzer π
crackktheskyy: It’s true! I loved my makeup for our wedding but remember thinking it was a little heavy when I looked in the mirror. Looking back at the photos I wished I had worn more blush, lol.
crackktheskyy: Agreed. I would just mention it to her beforehand so she the right colors on hand.
taylor15220: Thanks! I think those are easy fixes π Overall, a very successful trial!
ilikeballet: I was honestly a bit shocked at first when I saw myself in the mirror because I wear makeup sometimes, but I’ve never had it done up so nicely before! I wasn’t sure what to make of it at first….but I will try to remember this sensation on my wedding day and still ask for more blush LOL
NovaRising: Fortunately, she carries everything with her so she can just sort of set up like a little studio right there in our hotel room! Plus, she will have to do makeup for the other girls, too, so I’m sure she will have plenty on her π
