Hi Bees! I just had my makeup trial yesterday and want to know what you guys think 🙂
I’m not someone who wears much makeup (only pressed powder foundation, mascara, and lipgloss on some days), so I was a bit worried about feeling like I had a thick layer on. My makeup artist convinced me to try airbrushed anyway, since she does it for almost all her brides and said I wouldn’t need much product. It actually felt great on my skin, and no thicker than regular makeup. I wore it for about 10 hours and found that I got a bit oily on my forehead, which is normal for me, and nothing that blotting papers can’t easily fix. Otherwise, it stayed put all day, which I’m super happy about!
On the day of, my lips will be slighter darker and less pink. We mixed together and tried several options, so by the time I took pictures, my lips probably didn’t reflect the colour that they will actually be. I’m confident that we’ll get it right the day of. Also, for my trial, we didn’t bother with fake lashes, but I will be doing subtles ones of the day of.
Please let me know if you think I need any changes! I’m open to suggestions Sorry the pictures might not be the best quality. I tried to take them in natural light, but didn’t take them outside as it was raining. Thanks ladies!!
P.S. I later curled my hair to match my fancy face!

Gorgeous! I especially love the highlighting around the eyes. Have you ever tried doing a tapered line of eyeliner 1/4 to 1/2 way across the bottom eyelid starting thin from the outside and even thiner towads the center? I think it may really get the color of your eyes to be highlited while not being too heavy.

Thanks for the great suggestion! I’ve never done eyeliner on the bottom before but I know a lot of people do that and will ask the makeup artist about it. I totally see what you mean though. Thank you!

Your eyes look amazing! I think the look is good-natural but classy and beautiful. And best of all, it doesn’t look like you are wearing a ton of makeup. The only thing I would maybe add would be a touch more blush or bronzer to accent your cheeks/ face!

Those are your natural lashes? Color me insanely jealous!
And I think she did a great job — very pretty but not at all overdone!

I love it! I think you look gorgeous! your makeup artist is great and you don’t look like you have a ton of makeup on, but it does look polished.

Thanks for the suggestion! In person, I think the blush was more noticeable, but I definitely want it to show up a bit in pictures.
Haha, yes, they are natural. Funny story…I actually cut them off when I was a kid because I thought they needed a trim like the hair on my head. My mom freaked out and I told her a robber broke in and did it. Thank god they grew back!!
Thank you 🙂 That’s totally the look I’m trying to go for.

You’re so naturally beautiful, im jealous. Lol I think the artist did a fantastic job though. You look beautiful but not over done. I’ve been looking into airbrush makeup as well, I may just have to book a trial now. 🙂

lovely! not too overdone and it really brings out your features! i was wondering if airbrushing would feel/look too heavy but now i am excited to try it 🙂

You look flawless in a natural and beautiful kind of way! The only thing I might suggest is a little more blush for a pop of color on those cheeks. You’re so pretty 😀

Gorgeous!! I agree a tiny bit more blush and it will be perfection. I think the slightly darker lip will be just right.

Thank you ladies! You should definitely give airbrushing a try. I was so skeptical, as I didn’t want to look overdone or feel cakey or dry. It really exceeded my expectations, and on the big day, I think I’ll be less concerned about how it’s holding up.

Aww thanks ladies! You know how to make someone’s day! I will definitely ask for a bit more colour on the cheeks.
