Ok, so the people at blue nile are AMAZING! they are working with me on my shipping issue, and are SUPER helpful….i think we have found the setting! and stone…i really wanted a moissy and may still get one as a RHR, but they dont have the shape i want, a marquise : ( !!!! so we found a great diamond! but since it is marquise i sent them a battery of questions about bands since i want them to sit flush and be soddered together when i get married…..
soo here is a mock pic from the site of the setting and what it would look like….plus as a bonus i get my sapphires too!

love love love it….SO picked it and i fell off my chair! GORGEOUS!
it is set in 14kt white gold and so i have to options for a band….as we will order them both at once, since the people at blue nile were helpful and told me that when they make my ring they can have the jewler slightly adjust the center stone on the bottom to ensure that which ever band i choose will sit flush against the e-ring so it can be sodded together so it dose not have to be done later! SWEET!
so here are my band options!
option a: diamond and sapphire band

option b: plain white gold band

i love both, but really like the sapphire and diamond band but idk if that would be too much on such a dainty set!?!?! any advice opionions or pictures???
we are 99.95% sure this is it…im just making final decisions! : ) !!!!
thanks bees!

Honestly, I like the plain band! I think it will make your engagement ring stand out more.

If it was me I would get one of each and stack them. You can do it e-ring then plain band then sapphire/diamond band. I think it would need a little bit of seperation between the two bands because they are identical

I like the plain gold band with your e-ring more, I think it will complement your e-ring the best! If you solder the matching band it’ll just look like one wide band I imagine… I say get the plain band as a wedding band, you can never go wrong with a plain band and then get the matching band as an anniversary gift. Beautiful and very unique e-ring by the way, love the dainty feel of it ๐

First off, beautiful engagement ring! Congrats on finally finding it!
I would go with the plain band. If you get the matching wedding band, it will look like one wider band, and with the wedding band only on one side, it may make your marquis look off center.

While I think they would both look great with youre e-ring, I think the plain band would compliment it beautifully!

I normally prefer diamond over plain wedding bands, but I think in your case the plain band will look better. I think it will make your e-ring stand out more.
I don’t think you can go wrong with either one however. You picked a beautiful ring!
If you really want a sparkly band, I wonder how a band with just diamonds would look next to your e-ring?

@country chic: hmmm….i had not thought about that ill have to check it out!!
Thanks everyone! we are thrilled to finally have found something that is going to work and in our price range, we have came so close so many times just to have random crazieness pop up and stop it for us! (discontinued style, shady seller, SO changes his mind)….we are really really debating, they have been really good to us soo far, and have said it would be very simple to make the minimal adjustment so the band (which ever we choose) would sit directly flush against it…

I like the matching band for that ring.
I just wanted to advise you that there is marquise moissanite. It may be something that has to be specially ordered, but it’s available. This is a video taken about 7 weeks ago. The ring was made by Joseph Schubach.
