So my Fiance and I have been searching high and low for the perfect ceremony site. We actually found our reception site first! We are not religious, so getting married in a church isn’t really an option unless it’s non-denominational. Our reception site is a country club & they have offered to waive the ceremony fee. We wld just need to pay for chairs and decorations. This is a great option for us, as we’re on a tight budget, but I can’t really picture bringing that same intimate feeling outdoors as there would be in a private room. Is there something we can do to make it beautiful AND intimate? We aren’t too traditional, but I really don’t want it to be too casual either. I may be asking for a miracle here…

I had my quinceniera on a golf course and it was very pretty. We had white chairs and flowers for the ceremony and it just turned out really nice. One tip is to face your guests towards the building and not the course. My photographer had captured shots of my friends who were in the ceremony all looking up because they were watching the golf balls LOL!!!

Do they have an area somewhere that could be made more intimate? Like big trees near the clubhouse, an area overlooking a lake, etc….. Do you have pics or their website you could post?

We are having our ceremony outside on a golf course as well. The ceremony will take place on the back lawn of the club house, which has a pretty white picket fence. Beyond the fence there is a pretty pond so it makes for a nice visual. The venue should be able to provide pictures of other ceremonies that took place there, I know mine did.
For our ceremony we are going to be facing the pond, and I am looking for a pretty arbor like
I think I am going to jazz it up a bit more, but that is the general idea.
