@ForeverBirds:  more powdered sugar would thicken it, not necessarily make it hard. If you want it to get harder and glossy (like royal icing- the kind you’d get on a fancy frosted sugar cookie) you could get meringue powder. For that recipe I’d maybe put in a tablespoon?
