I’m really waiting it out. We’ve been so happy together for almost two years. We are not done having fun and I’m not ready to start a family. My first nephew or niece will be born this coming March and I do’t want to steal my sister’s thunder lol.

This December makes us two years in Marriage & 6 years in total. We are waiting for 3-5 years from now. That will put us at 5-7 years in marriage before kids.

I’d love to start having babies right away but unfortunately it’s not a good time for us. I’ve only just started in my career so feel that I ought to try and establish myself some beforehand and we don’t really have enough of a financial cushion to be comfortable at the moment.  We’ll probably wait around 3 years, but we’ll see what happens!

It all depends, If you feel that you are BOTH ready now then I say go for it. It can take over a year of trying before you even become pregnant.

I had my two beautiful boys and two years later ended up getting sick and not being able to have any more children….So I am a little biased.

My Fiance and I have been together for 12 years. We are getting married in 23 days. I will wait until the end of the year, but whatever happens; happens.

I would love to get right on it, but Darling Husband wants some ‘us’ time, wants to be closer to home ownership, and also I am in school right now, so I guess not the best time.  We will probably wait around 2 years.

I voted “Within a year” but our original plan was to wait a year+. We decided to start a few months shy of our anniversary since we figured it would take a while, and here I am 6 weeks along.

We both feel totallyy ready right now but we decided to wait until after our 6 year dating anniversary next September, exactly 1 year from today 🙂 (We will have been married almost 1.5 years). We are 23/24 and hopefully we will have a baby in our arms soon after we turn 25/26. We decided to wait so we can buy a house (hopefully in February), go on one last big trip before babies come along and have at least one year or two of just the two of us.

If we decide to have children, it will be at least 2-3 years after the wedding.

It’s probably going to be about five years for us.
