I am an invitation freak!  I love them!  It’s really the first impression an event makes to it’s guests, and love what you can do with them!

Are you looking into bi fold cards, post cards, a three dimensional boxed idea or what?

Well, that’s easy then, look for a nice heavy cardstock, you can do matte, semi-gloss or glossy, what you pick depends on what you plan to do with it, are you going to have photos or graphics printed on them, print them on your own printer and maybe do stamping or embossing on them?

If you want to DIY emboss an image or graphic, you go to a craft store, pick out a stamp you like, buy an embossing ink pad and embossing powder in a color you like, as well as an embossing gun… you stamp the emobssing ink on your card, sprinkle the powder over it, tap it off, it will only stick to the ink, and heat it up with the gun…you’ve got a molten looking stamped image on your invites!
