it depends on how the dress is built, and where the seams are. find a professional seamstress, and ask them.

it’s most likely possible. it just depends on where the seams and everything are in the dress.

@krodarte822:  I think taking it in somewhere would be your best bet. 🙂 I don’t see an issue with it, but I’m also not a professional. Taking it to a seamstress near you will allow them to touch and feel the dress to see if it’s plausible. Good luck! 🙂

You would probably have to find an independent seamstress as most dress shops wouldn’t alter the designer’s original dresses to that extent.

I’m only guessing: they would take the sleeves off and most of the side hem. However, it would depend on where the zipper/buttons are. From the pictures, it’s hard to tell but it appears that the zipper/buttons are on the side. So, that would be something you’d ask a seamstress. You could probably just take a photo of it to a seamstress before committing to buy the dress — if you haven’t bought the dress yet.
