So, I have my dress already, in my closet, pretty much ready to go…and I’ve still got 6 months before the wedding. I also have my veil, my shoes, and all that jazz.
I must confess that I am having a really, really hard time not playing dress up. Am I the only one?

I totally tried on my wedding dress before my wedding. lol. I have no self control.

I don’t have my dress yet … but I am sure I will be exactly the same way 🙂

Ahh…I’m glad I’m not the only one! I’m seriously having to exercise all the control I have right now to not go put that beauty on and waltz around the family room like I’m a Disney princess. I have reverted to being six years old again.

Nope, I do it all the time! 🙂

The bridal shop I bought my dress from has secure, fire-proof storage until the wedding. They said that they have brides that come in to try their dress on every week, lol. Thankfully the store is more than 2 hours from where I live so I can’t do that, otherwise I might when it comes in, lol.

Hehehhe I’m keeping my dress at my parents’ house (3 hours away) so I won’t be tempted to do that!

It’s funny you wrote this. My 13yr old daugter and I were talking about wedding dresses and I was saying how sad it is that you only get to wear it for one day. She was like…
…”Who says? I’m gonna were mine all the time after I get married. My husband will come home and I’l be in my dress sitting on the couch and be like hey babe, what’s up?”
LOL I love her!

@luvmyDwight: That is so awesome – she sounds like my 14 year old. She currently wants a fairytale wedding but not disney, more Grimm’s LOL
I had my dress out to ummm show my IL over thanksgiving and I *might* have slipped it on Friday with my veil just to make sure they matched (omg it was amazing) but I have since put her back in the bag and have made myself SWEAR that it will not come out again until my first fitting in January.
I have started calling my wedding dress “my precious” if that tells you anything
