@AbeeCee123:  you have more friends on your list than I do! lol. I have 1 confirmed Maid/Matron of Honor, and one maybe two ladies I’m considering asking to be bridesmaids. Other than that I have maybe three or four friends I’d invite (not including their SO’s). That’s about it.

Ive come to accept tha people arent always as happy for you as they claim to be anyway, so dont feel bad, its about you and your hubby to be! All others are just extras!

Yeah, I only have 1 maybe 2 attendants but Fiance has like, 8 million groomsmen! It’s sick. He even jokingly offered me one or two to be bridesmen. I DON’T WANT YOUR STINKING BRIDESMEN, I WANT MY OWN FRIENDS, DANGIT! >.<

And OP- no offense taken 🙂

Yeah, I’m pretty much the same. I only had 13 friends to invite – including their spouses and children, so technically only about 6 friends! Then a few that are mutual friends (about 12 or so friends). Luckily, I have a fantastic extended family to make up for it – I may suck at making friends, but my brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins and parents are always going to be there.

Plus my husband has some great friends that I kinda count as my friends now 🙂 It all depends on how you look at it!

@Omgbunnies:  Haha, same here! Fiance keeps saying “well maybe I should add this person and that person as groomsmen” and I’m just sitting here feeling all left out.

That is A LOT more friends then I will have on my guest list. Don’t let it bother you! That is a HEAP of people, and it’s the quality not quantity that really counts, right?

Plus, less people to pay for! Winning!

@allyfally:  Right?? He has to WHITTLE. DOWN. who he wants as attendants and I’m just sitting here, slack-jawed, clinging to my one bestie to be my MoH and hoping against hope that Future Sister-In-Law will want to be a bridesmaid.

Most of our list so far is my rather large family (and that is limited to first cousins). Most of our invited friends are in the wedding party or are mutual friends. The truth is, we like small intimate groups better than large get-togethers. We have a small, close circle of friends. That is okay. We will be able to have the smaller guest list like we wanted. I felt a little lame for having less friends, too, for a little bit. Now I am embracing it.

@Omgbunnies:  RIGHT! He’s seriously considering asking another of his friends to be a groomsmen and I told him that if he does that I’ll have to ask his sister to be a bridesmaid. And I’ve only met her three times! There is another friend that I’m close to, but she lives in another state and I’m not sure if she’s for sure going to be able to make it. So. =/
