I originally planned on just having my sisters be my bridesmaids, with my twin sister being the Maid/Matron of Honor. FH and I were talking last night and he would like his sisters to be part of the wedding as well. So 2Bridesmaid or Best Man and 1Maid/Matron of Honor has turned into 4Bridesmaid or Best Man and 1Maid/Matron of Honor. With the added people I would like to make the Maid/Matron of Honor stand out a little bit. We have decided on dresses already:
I really like the ivory sash but maybe should I just have the Maid/Matron of Honor with the ivory sash and the other Bridesmaid or Best Man with a matching yellow sash? Bigger bouquet for the MOH? Input would be appreciated. I know that there have been other posts about this but I am hoping for something that goes with this specific dress. Thanks!

My sister insisted that I make her look different (she’s such a brat! lol) so I ended up adding more color to her bouquet to make her look a little different than the other BMs. You could always have her do a different hair style than the rest. Like, Half-up with the rest of the girls All-down. Or add an accessory like a necklace or hair piece that’s different.

i like giving her a different sash — do you have another accent color? i like the yellow and ivory, so could your bms wear that and your moh can just replace the ivory with a different color?

I have 2 MOHs; I made the jewelry for them and my bridesmaids, but while the bridesmaids had three pearls, two charcoal beads, and then the pearls again pattern, the MOHs have a red swarovski between the charcoal beads, and a red ribbon bow on the side of their necklaces.
My sister (one of my MOHs) is also wearing a silver dress compared to everyone else’s black, so she stands out more. 🙂

What of you switched the colors for the Maid/Matron of Honor dress? Can you get the dress in inory with a yellow sash? It would still look coordinated and you wouldn’t have to add in anoher color!
