This is so heartbreaking to me.

Those men are so brave to share.

This breaks my heart and makes me sick. It’s a horrible world we live in, and these men are so brave.

So heartbreaking. The man with the tae kwon doe teacher has the saddest eyes. So sorry to hear of his shame and self-blame, and I can only imagine the feelings of the others, even though they aren’t written specifically.

I wish that one day this will be nonexistent.

@FutureMrsHallam:  There is a female version of this too. I’m not sure where, I’ve only seen selections on a news web site. Both are sad – but the survivors are very brave.

@FutureMrsHallam:  I am a domestic violence & sexual assault advocate. I work primarily with women & have actually only worked with one male. My heart hurts when I read these quotes & see the faces behind male sexual assault.

I wish more men knew that they were not alone…

I really admire their courage for doing this.

Why do people do this to other people?!?!?!?!!?

there’s one for women too. In my case, my mom,a nurse scoffed at me and said “that’s not a sexual assault”.

I remember I had a Criminal Justice class with a deaf girl, and we were discussing the topic of rape. The deaf girl (through her interpreter) yelled, “Men can’t be raped!” And her and the professor went on about it, but she still refused to believe it was possible. It happens, and this should show those folks out there who believe it is not possible, that it does happen.
