(Closed) Male strippers- kind of a review, but more of a rant.

I really cannot imagine seeing strippers. Totally not my thing. One of my bridesmaids wants me to hire one for my bachelorette and I swear that if she does it, I’m climbing out of the toilet window and going to join the stag party instead (there won’t be any strippers there). Maybe it’s because I’m English… but I’m just not interested in seeing that much flesh. I’m also a great believer in personal space, and I don’t like people I don’t know coming too close to me. If I was dragged to see a stripper and they touched me, I would leave immediately.

That said, I have a real soft spot for burlesque… the glamorous costumes… the routines… that old fashioned sexy feel… if you went to that instead, I’d sympathise more!

Have never seen strippers, and do not plan to. My Maid/Matron of Honor and a Bridesmaid or Best Man were planning to get some for my bacholerette, but i’m prettttty sure I talked them out of it!

Male strippers are apparently very touchy feely. Mum’s friend was saying she had one grab her hands and put them down his underwear! If someone ever did that to me, i’d probably tear it off lol. I second the above poster, I may need to crawl out of a window and run off to the bucks night too!

I personally am not into them, think it’s a bit cheesy but to each their own.

My friend was Maid/Matron of Honor recently & the stripper that was at her bride’s hens night was awful. She said he was way too touchy-feely, made all the girls feel super uncomfortable. He made my friend lie on the floor (after much protesting on her part) then he basically danced above her with his crotch an inch away from her face.

The guy then stuck a lollipop in front of his g-string & wanted her to remove it with her teeth. She freaked out & got him off eventually, but she said she felt really upset, like she was half-cheating on her hubby.

I went to a show in Vegas and I thought it was cheesy and gross. I won’t be going back to one.

Not my thing at all. Hate male strippers!

I don’t like male strippers. I have friends who do (incidentally, virgins), but I just…no. They’re orange and oily and it’s just not sexy at all. I like a man who can dance, sure, but that isn’t always synonymous with grinding his crotch all over the place, humping the ground, etc. I had zero interest in seeing Magic Mike, and I really feel like the women I know who saw it enjoyed it because they’re so repressed in real life.

If I wanted to see a hot naked man, I would just tell Fiance to strip down.

I’ve been once for a friend’s bachelorette party. It was a legit male strip club, not like a choreographed show or anything. Lots of gay guys there and pretty seedy/run down. While it was gross and not my thing, it was also more hilarious than I expected, it is so over the top and seeing friends’ reactions was pretty funny. It was NOT hot at all. But not as bad as I expected in terms of “get me out of here now!”

There will not be any sort of strippers at my bachelorette party. My Maid/Matron of Honor is going mf or a little more classy than tacky.

I think it’s like anything else – some entertainers are better than others, but in this case I think fun but not necessarily sexy is more common

I’ve been 3 times for various bachelorette events for friends, and I think they’re hilarious & gross.  I don’t know how anyone finds them sexy or a turn-on.

I went a few times, but always at a gay bar. The strippers were hot, but generally don’t go near the ladies there. It s fun. I can’t imagine going somewhere that they actually touch you, that is so strange to me!

I have to agree with previous posters, not really my thing either. What would turn me on, however, is a well dressed man doing laundry.

Every male stripper I’ve ever seen/met has come off as more CREEPY than hot.

My friend went to a bachelorette party recently where they went to make strippers and she called me after to make sure I didn’t want that for my party… Apparently they paid like 5 bucks each for the bride to get on stage, which resulted in the stripper, who had a painful looking boner due to his cock ring, slapping the bride in the face with his penis a few times and that was it. Sounds pretty awful to me!
