Oh πŸ™ I’m sorry she said that. You know she needs you but once they hit school age they want to be so independent. My nephew asked my SO the other day what a Douche Bag was. It’s just all part of growing up πŸ˜‰ LOL

Awwwww my heart broke a tiny bit for you!!! Why can’t they just stay small and helpless forever??? Have you and your Fiance talked about the possiblilty of having anymore children?

Aww that’s so sad.  My nephew told me a couple months ago that soon he was going to be too big to hang out with his Auntie. (He’s 5.)  Just about broke my heart.

bahahahah that is so hilarious!!! Kids say the funniest things. My Fiance and I have been talking about the possibility of having one more baby after the wedding, and my 4 year old (who really really really wants me to have another baby) said, we only have one problem guys. How the heck are we going to get that baby in your tummy???    Ahhhh I am not having this conversation yet!!! He’s only 4!!!

Don’t take it too hard… I told my mom to stop hugging me, kissing me, and screaming “mama loves you before I went off for class in elementary shool” lol Haha…she just got worst! But sometimes in Middle School she would be a little more calm about it.

Anyhoot, now that I am an adult (teacher) I know this is apart of life. Kids just say the darnest things and don’t always know what they are saying or that it hurts! If its any help, mother and I are the closest friends in the whole wide world.I super love her and I don’t mind if she says I Love You to the World. I love my mommy and I dont care who knows it.

Your baby will get over it- she is just reaching her little independence. You may want to have a talk with her though and let her know you will always be mommy, show her baby pics, videos, let her know how much you love her, how much you care.

p.s. hahaha I remember my mother making me watch Immitation of Life (That got me straight)

I know how you feel! My kid has informed me that its just not cool to hang out with your parents anymore! They just grow up way too fast!

πŸ™ My heart broke a little bit for you.. my mom used to come to all of my games/award ceremonies/etc and whistle REALLY loud and I was soooo embarrassed and she would never stop even when I asked! By the time I liked it, she didn’t do it anymore πŸ™

The two of you could develop a secret code for “I love you”, like wiggling your nose, or tugging on your ear like Carol Burnett used to do.

I bet she would have fun coming up with an idea.
