My fiance will be getting his custom ring in a couple of weeks – made with his grandfathers 60 year old ring – and knowing him he’s going to want to wear it immediately. I don’t mind either way!

My husband wore a ring while pregnant. He picked it out and we had shared finances, so I didn’t really “get it for him” but I thoguht it was a nice idea. He just continued to wear the same ring after the wedding, just like I did.

My fiancé has two engagement rings actually, one is silicone and the other is tungsten. He has sensitive skin so we wanted to make sure he didn’t have an allergic reaction. He did to the silicone lol. He wears the tungsten ring everyday. I think he loves it and he shows it off. I joked that if he wanted me to change my last name then he too could wear a ring during our engagement. Different strokes for different folks. I am in the US if that makes any diff.

I wanted my fiance to feel special and commemorate the engagement so I bought him his dream guitar! Well… I paid for most of it… it was wicked expensive (for me) so he actually insisted on chipping in for the extra to get this specific custom guitar. We are both professional musicians so I thought it would be a good gift because a) I wanted him to have the most beautiful (insert object here) of his DREAMS but b) I wanted to give him something he would see or use every day, much like my ring. A guitar felt like a more logical choice than a ring…. He’s not a ring guy (like I’m going to be surprised if he wears his wedding band, he hates all jewelry), and dude rings are usually so much less expensive than women’s rings. So to buy him a plain band that he wouldn’t even really wear didn’t feel like it was “even” for me.. if that makes sense…

Anyway, he’s obsessed with the guitar and spends more time with IT than ME haha. So, a good purchase. I am 100% FOR mangagement gifts of all kinds. 🙂
