I started out overweight, but didn’t gain much in first trimester due to low appetite. Then I was diagnosed with GD and had to totally change my eating patterns- 3 meals and 3 snacks equally spread out through the day, always having protein with carbs, filling up on veggies, cutting any sweetened beverage, and adding in light activity after meals. Whether you have GD or not, it’s a pretty good way to eat. Hopefully I keep in the habit and can get back to a healthier weight after delivery!

Started out at 110 lbs and gained about 21lbs total. I cut out sugar and minimized fructose. Only drank decaff tea or water. Snacked on rice crackers and veg. Obv I did have junk food here and there but on the whole I ate well and the weight was healthy and just fell off me pp.
