lavender-reveries:  Wow! That is a PRETTY color! And I love the way it looks with your ring. I think I can see your stone reflecting some of the blue — or am I imagining that? Super pretty, either way!

I had a new glitter polish that I hadn’t tried out yet. So I added it on top of the light pink (Wanderlust) I was already wearing. I am probably way too old for glittery nails, but I kind of love it — ha, ha! I’m sure I won’t love it when it’s time to remove all of it, though. >.O

longtimemrs:  I think it is reflecting some of the blue, too!

Your nails are always so perfect, I need to get on your level.  And yes, glitter polish is the WORST when it comes to removing it.  My question, why can’t they make a clear topcoat out of the same cement formula that glitter polish is?!

lavender-reveries:  Awww! Thanks! You are way, way too sweet.

My mani skills are far from perfect. I think those pointed-end Q-tips are my best friends when I’m doing my nails. Especially if I’m having a “shaky hands” day.

I can’t agree more on the glitter polish thing. I would LOVE a clear, shiny topcoat that had the staying power of a glitter polish — ha, ha!

longtimemrs:  Put a nail polish remover soaked cotton ball/pad on your nail, and then a then wrap each individual nail in tin foil. Wait about 5 minutes, and then press down and wiggle it off of your nail. The glitter polish will come right off.

New mani with Essie Lilacism. It’s been snowing all day here in New York and I am so sick of it. I needed some spring pastels to lift my mood!

(Not sure why the pic is coming out sideways.)
