Its not in the KC area but Hannibal, MO is amazing! It is a historic area, where Mark Twain was born and grew up. It would be a drive but i believe well worth it 🙂

At Lone Summit Ranch in Lee’s Summit, MO near Pleasant Hill, MO is somewhat affordable depending on what you’re looking for. You must have food and drink for $2400+

Also, Drexel Hall is gorgeous and can accomodate all of those guests! Lot of seating with the option of having the ceremony there too. Also they have the open catering option. I love this venue but it’s too spacious for my wedding of 100 guests.

Just attended a wedding at Mildale Farms: http://jcprd.com/parks_facilities/mildale_farm.cfm

It was beautiful, and not too long of a drive, although the couple had buses for us to and from hotel. Not sure on pricing, but the grounds are beautiful, and there is beautiful indoor and outdoor space to work with.

Good luck!
