@Joanna052111:use pins–that’s how i attached my aunts for her wedding. it was very easy.

you can also do velcro but it can make your hair a tiny bit fuzzy when you take it off

My mom also used bobby pins to secure mine.

@Belle2Be: that doesn’t show how to do it for a drop mantilla veil, which I believe is what OP wants. :/

@Joanna052111: I was planning on doing a “normally” placed mantilla with pins and then maybe a blusher to give the dropped effect. though I also love the look of a dropped mantilla, i don’t know how it would be possible unless there was a small clear comb attached near the front edge and then you and FH can rehearse him moving it back and placing it on the crown of your head… but that requires some finesse!

Can’t you just sew a clip halfway though?

Anyone figure how to attach a blusher? I have a mantilla veil as well and want my face covered for the church

Hi,

You need these Veil weights. Not well known, but they work like a dream!

A friend of mine is a high end weddint planner in Southern California with a lot of stuff on the beach and wouldn’t be caught dead without these.

They are small and weighted perfectly to flow but now blow.
