wow, that was bizarre.  Sorry that’s what you got.  I’m not into mantras so I can’t really help, I just figured you should have a positive response as well.  Would something like telling yourself about a good thing that happened each day/something positive you did each day work?  Or even repeating a plan for tomorrow?

My mantra lately has been “be here, now.” With the wedding slowly approaching I find myself oscillating between excited and stressed, and I lose touch with the moment. I don’t want my students to suffer, so I try to be here, now. I’ve started wearing my Mala to work as a reminder.

In the past, it’s been “the Universe provides”, “I am enough”, and “forgive, forget, learn.” I’m a big fan of just letting my mantra pick itself, even though I’m a fan of three word combinations. So far, the only mala to break has been “the universe provides”.

christine7 :  wow…go shit on someone elses parade troll.

sunshinegirl91 :  I’ve seen a few posted online such as

I love myself and believe in myself

Everything I need is within me

Purpose over perfect

I am happy, I am peaceful, I am safe

I have enough, I do enough, I am enough

Let the (((good vibes))) flow💓 hope that helps 🤗

sunshinegirl91 :

“Are you a part of the angry beehive?”  No,  she /he is a troll. There is no ‘angry beehive,’ only the odd person inserting  themself here  doing their odd thing .

As for mantra  I don’t believe you can  do better than  the ancient classic

Aum mani padme hum . Repeat over and over ,  don’t stress any  particular word , pronounce ‘mani’ as if it were ‘marnie’ , others just as they look.

sunshinegirl91 :  The one I worked out with my therapist is, “I’m choosing to be here.”

ETA: In hindsight that sounds kind of cryptic.  But it is to remind myself when I’m dealing with difficult stuff at work and just want to quit, “I’m choosing to be here.”  LOL

I use this when practicing yoga in particular, but find it usefull throughout the day, especially as a teacher on my feet…”my mind is my body, my body is my mind” It allows me to connect to my body and get out of my head a little bit.

“I love my life! Thank you god!” (the universe, whatever you believe in.)

I repeat that often throughout the day to stay in an energy of gratitude. I also like, “everything is always working out for me.”

First, I agree with elderbee.

On a more humorous note, when I hear of mantras or affirmations, I can only think of:

Ones that have been helpful to me in the past;

– I am safe, I trust in the process of life.

– I release the need for conflict, fear and abandonment.

(I guess you can tell I’ve had some issues LOL)

“Don’t let anyone dull your sparkle”.

I love that one 😊

Okay, I got through my wedding day reciting these two things:

1. Just breathe (if feeling overwhelmed, on the verge of tears, etc.), and

2. I don’t care (when something happened out of my control. Saying it helped me “cut ties” with any problems I couldn’t deal with or fix.)

😁
