I actually haven’t seen many manzanita centerpieces that the brides just kept natural. I usually see white or silver for winter weddings and sometimes brown or black.

What are you using with the branches?

I spray painted mine, but I wanted them to be white. If you want the natural look, they will still look natural even if they don’t all match exactly. Are some sand blasted and some red? That seems weird that they would mix the two, esp since the sand blasting is quite a process ($$$). If not, it’s just natural variation, i’m sure.

Spraypainting them is quite a process…only do that if you have to.

Can you post a pic so we can see the colour variation?

When I got my branches from blooms and branches there was a note on the invoice that gave you the exact color of brown if it needed touch ups.  I can’t recall exactly what it was called, but I’ll look it up when I get home later.  I do know it was a well known brand spraypaint so it would be super easy to find.  ๐Ÿ™‚

I like natural (and used it at my wedding).  But, if you’re going to paint them, I’d paint them 100%.

Prettty!  I like the contrast of the white branch, buy you could easily prune it if you want something more uniform.

I didn’t do centerpieces, but used it for a wishing tree.  I piece broke off and fell in the vase, during set-up.  I was too rushed to pull it out.  I ended up liking the little wisp of non-uniformity.

manzanita can be spray painted or kept natural. If you want you can get spray paint that is manzanita color and just touch up the branches. I have done that many times.

Attached are several centerpieces and wish trees I’ve made and sprayed or touched up. You decide. IT’s easy. REALLY!

Sprayed Gold!

sprayed Champnge!

Sprayed Silver!

Branches just touched up with manzanita color!
