IMO, what makes manzanita pretty is its sparseness.  I think they’d be even prettier w/o the crystals.  They are so gorgeous with the red flowers, and the table dressings.

I had cherry blossoms centerpieces surrounded by 6 votives.  One thing that didn’t look quite as I’d planned it at home was the candles’ “uplighting” effect on the centerpieces.  The houselights were a little brighter than my test run at home, so the candles didn’t put out enough light to really uplight the branches.  If you’re going for a similar effect, you might try one of those uplighting disks under the branch vase.

I agree that it would like fine without the crystals, in my opinion I think the crystals are a little too big for those branches.  I made a wish tree out of these branches for our wedding and haven’t put anything on them, I think it looks fine in the pot with river rocks in it.  I may add some ribbon bows to add some color, but with all the tags that will be on it, I am fine leaving it.

I also think it would have more impact without the crystals.Sometimes simpler is better.

See how dramatic this one is without anything extra.

I think you should do one or the other. Flowers or crystals.

I agree, those crystals are too much. If you still want that bling try smaller crystals or add glitter to the tree towards the end of the branches so you get a hint of sparkle in the candle light. Maybe glue a crystal to the center of your flowers.

I too say lose the crystals……love the natural look of the branches, but maybe paint them black so they match the damask runner…just an idea (even though they look awesome as they are now!)
