This is a full list of what is done so far:

– Ceremony / Reception – We are having it at the same place (a golf course); ceremony is outside in a courtyard and the reception is inside in their ballroom; they also do the catering and we had our taste testing a few weeks ago.  The food was delicious

– Officiant is booked – She is actually a good friend of mine that I work with that is going to marry us.

– Guest List is finalized – Invitations & wording are ordered and received; just need to sit down and write out the envelopes – still needing some addresses – when is everyone sending out their invitations?

– Photographer is booked – a friend of my fiance is a professional photographer and gave us a great rate

– We went and the girls ordered their bridesmaid dresses last weekend.  It was a lot of fun and and with having 4 girls, I thought it would take hours and we ended finishing in less than an hour.  It probably helped that they picked out their own style.  The only stipulation was it had to dark purple (plum/eggplant) and it had to be ankle length.

– Dress is purchased and received – I actually bought it earlier in the year.  I go for my alterations in January (too long and I need a bustle put it for the train)

– Bought my shoes – they should be coming in the mail in a few days.  I hope they fit great as I loved the style and couldn’t find anything in the stores so I bought online.  Luckily they offer free return shipping/refund if I don’t like them.  They got great reviews so heres hoping!

– Started registries at Bed, Bath & Beyond; still need to register at Target

– Honeymoon is booked – We paid for it last week.  One week cruise to the Western Caribbean.  Can’t wait!

– Set up florist appointments for Monday of this coming up week

– Booked my DJ – he gave me a great price for ceremony music, cocktail hour & a 4 hour reception including uplighting in purple

– Booked by hair/make-up person – Since the venue that I am getting married at has a bridal suite for us to get ready before and we can have it early in the morning, I really wanted someone that would come to me.  I don’t want to have to travel all over on the day of my wedding so I found a great girl that travels the whole state of florida, has excellent reviews and her prices were very reasonable.

– Booked our baker for our cake – My Fiance job allows him to interact with pastry chefs all day so we are using one of the pastry chefs from one of the restaurants that he works at who does wedding cakes on the side.  She sent home a slice of the cake she is making and it was delicious.  She is also doing my inspiration cake.

– Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts are done – there major gift is I am paying for them to have their hair or make-up done my the girl coming the morning of.  I also put together a personalize emergency bridesmaid tote bag using the cute little saying that is posted in others DIY projects on here

I still need to…

Book my florist,  purchase my hair piece (not wearing a veil), finish up registries, purchase a dress for the rehearsal/showers, pick out my & his wedding band, finish DIY the centerpieces for the tables & escort tables
