bloomingflower:  Ok just making sure having a longer follicular phase does not mean anything. Thank you.

Your age/partner’s age: 35, hubby is 32

Baby #: 2, DS turned 2 in Nov.

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD 9

Ovulation Date: ??

POAS Date: TBD but probably 12DPO (estimated)

Usual Cycle Length: pre-pregnancy they were about 35 days long but just had my first AF since Feb of 2013

Cycles Trying: technically 2 but have been waiting for AF for 11 months.

BFP Plan (BD timing, charting, prenatals, supplements, etc.): will start using OPKs tomorrow (CD10). BD every other day starting CD 14 (unless I get a positive OPK sooner) and try to keep that up until I get signs of O. I’m going through the motions this month because I can’t bring myself to skip a month since I JUST got AF back, but also would be ok with not having a nov/dec baby since DS was born the day before my Nov. birthday. =P

Link to Chart, if any:

FOR FUN THIS MONTH! – Do you have a hobby? Do you collect anything particular? if No, do you have a favorite garage sale or auction find? Tell us a bit about it. I cloth diaper my son, which some consider a hobby. I don’t go nuts collecting all the imited edition prints or anything like that, but I follow a few brands on FB and sometimes get the itch to churn my stash so I’ll do some b/s/t-ing. I also bought an Erin Condren Life Planner this year and am having fun planning/decorating in it.

wontonsoup:  I have a longer follicular phase too. I usually O CD 17 and my cycles are usually 31 days! Very normal!

bijou214:  We’re trying for our first, but I find the cloth diapering topic to be such a rabbit hole! I’ve done all kinds of research and watched a ton of YouTube videos about it. Same with Erin Condren planners! I had an ECLP last year, but I just ordered a Plum Paper Planner to see if I like that better! I had to clear some ECLP sticker sellers out of my Instagram to keep my Etsy purchases under control!

EL2101:  Ah ok thank you! I had noticed everyone had 28-29 day cycles and I was wondering if mine was normal. I’m totally new at this.

I’m on CD18 and assuming I ovulated. I’m not completely sure though. My (TMI) nipples are soooo sore. Anybody no if that’s a sign of ovulation???

mjharri4:  im pretty sure it is. I think i ovulated on 17th or 18th and have had very sore nipples yesterday and today. I looked online and it said that can happen after ovulation. Ive never had that(been on birth control for 10years) and man it hurts.lol. Im just used to the sore breast before AF.

mjharri4:  I think sore nipples can definitely be a sign. I believe I ovulated early on thurs or fri because of a huge surge in cm. We bd’d both days and sunday so hoping I covered that. This is my first cycle off pill so no idea what to expect. We plan on continuing the bd train eod at minimum to give us our best shot. I am also going to try my best not to test earlier given that I think I O’d early! ughh trying to remind myself beginners luck is highly unlikely.

First time on the POAS Board!!!!

ROLL CALL

Your age/partner’s age: 27/28

Baby #: 1

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD34/4DPO

Ovulation Date: 2/20

POAS Date: This is my first TTC/charting cycle, so I don’t really know how long my LP will be, but I’ll probably POAS around 3/2

Usual Cycle Length: Uknown…first cycle of BCP

Cycles Trying: 1

BFP Plan (BD timing, charting, prenatals, supplements, etc.): This is my first month off BCP, so it’s been a very wonky, lengthy cycle for me.  It’s also my first month charting, so it’s kinda trial and error! But I am charting and taking prenatals this month.  If we get a BFN this month, will plan on EOD BD next month.

I don’t have a particular hobby, but I love doing anything outside–fishing, hunting, hiking, boat rides, anything!! DH and I collect an Christmas ornament from every place that we travel to. Once we’ve traveled enough places, we plan on having a little tiny Christmas tree just for our travel ornaments!

bloomingflower:  Just read your hobby! DH and I are huge marvel fans!!! We actually just started watching everything in chronological order (movies,tv shows, one shots, the whole shebang!) My favorite is Black Widow as well, closely followed by Captain America.  I haven’t read the comics, but DH reads them.

bloomingflower:  I ovulated earlier than I thought. Please change my date to 3/4. My period(if the same as bcp) would start on the 5th, but I ovulated on either the 17th or 18th of february. So I could probably test sooner, but I want to wait till around my AF time.

Pepper123:  You are telling me. It is difficult to wait. I am not trying to get my hopes up because its our first month ttc and my first month off bcp. But it is so hard to not symptom spot!!(which they are all probably from it being my first month off bcp)
