Hoping for some good juju and luck this month! Praying for sticky beans and sending lots of baby dust!
Dr_dazzle : thank you!! I don’t want you to come to this month, but I’ll be here waiting with open arms when you get here.
This month a year ago I started a regular POAS board, so hopeful for bringing a baby into this world before the end of 2018. It didn’t happen, so I’m praying it can happen this year with a whole new outlook and plan than we were preparing for before. No sperm lead to a donor and IUI. I can’t seem to hope this month will bring good things to us all ♥️
Omg. Speaking of TV shows….Tim put on 90 Day Fiancé on Hulu….I’ve seen a season or two (or parts of seasons?) and he hasn’t ever. It is seriously the funniest thing watching him watch it 😂
I’m not sure if I’ll be able to TTC this month or not, my FW will only be 3 weeks since my laparoscopy but I’m healing well so we’ll see!
Your age/partner’s age: 30/31
Baby #: 1
Cycles Trying: 25ish
Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD7
Usual Cycle Length: 27 Days
Ovulation/Procedure (and what kind) Date: It should be around February 22nd.
POAS/Beta Date: March 4th!
Known fertility issues: Borderline low sperm count and low morphology… however, we are technically diagnosed as “unexplained infertility.” I suspect I may have low quality eggs after our epic fail of IVF last month.
BFP Plan (BD Timing, supplements, charting, prenatals, etc.): BD EOD during FW… Prenatals, CoQ10, DHEA, Myo-Insitol, Melatonin, Omega-3, wheatgrass… I think that’s it for me… charting.
Trying anything new this month?: Melatonin, DHEA, Omega-3, and wheatgrass (all suggested by my RE to help with egg quality). In March, we have consultations with 2 new doctors. We’ve been with our current RE for a year now and just keep having failure after failure. I’m really hoping a second opinion will be the answer to our prayers.

For fun: Favorite TV series (bonus if it is on Hulu or Netflix) right now?: Ugh. So many. A Million Little Things (Hulu), Shameless (Netflix, I think), Friends (Netflix)… I am sure there are others I am forgetting!
Come on March!!!
Your age/partner’s age: 35/34
Baby #: 1
Cycles Trying: 14 actively trying, but 5 years off birth control
Current Cycle Day/DPO: I’m roll calling in advance since we’re not actively trying in February, so ??
Usual Cycle Length: 26 days
Ovulation/Procedure (and what kind) Date: Tentatively March 10th
POAS/Beta Date: Tentatively March 20th
Known fertility issues: Officially we are unexplained infertiltity
BFP Plan (BD Timing, supplements, charting, prenatals, etc.): We are going to try to BD EOD until ovulation is confirmed, and then a few days after. I just want to make sure that we aren’t missing the window and thats the issue. I am taking CoQ10, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Omegas, prenatals, going to fertility acupuncture. I made my husband start taking CoQ10 and all the vitamins too, haha! Charting and using OPK strips. We have cut out all caffiene and are working towards a whole foods diet with organic meat, mostly plant based protein, whole grains, and a majority of fruit and vegetables. Also – this is probably kind of woo-woo but I’ve started doing positive thinking and repeating positive mantras and positive visualization about being pregnant and how its okay to be pregnant. It can’t hurt right? Certainly helps with the negative feelings I have.
Trying anything new this month?: We are going to have our first appointment with our IVF doctor. My acupuncturist thinks I have a luteal deficiency based on my 10 + days of spotting per month and short cycles, so I have started taking B6 to try to lengthen my cycles. I am considering taking melatonin too since I’ve heard that helps.
Link to your chart if charting: I don’t know how to do that, haha!
For fun: Favorite TV series (bonus if it is on Hulu or Netflix) right now?: We are watching Designated Survivor right now and its sooo cheesy but still entertaining!
Iʻll roll call since this cycle is looking anovulatory and extremely long:
Your age/partner’s age: 27/31
Baby #: 1
Cycles Trying: Got off the pill end of Sept. 2017
Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD34
Usual Cycle Length: 21-88 days, average 43 days
Ovulation/Procedure (and what kind) Date: Last +OPK was a week ago
POAS/Beta Date: waiting on O confirmation
Known fertility issues: lining + low progesterone + high testosterone
BFP Plan (BD Timing, supplements, charting, prenatals, etc.): BD as much as possible, temping, OPKs, bromelain 3dpo-7dpo, fertilaid 6dpo+
Trying anything new this month?: nope

For fun: Favorite TV series (bonus if it is on Hulu or Netflix) right now?: LOVED the Ted Bundy tapes on Netflix; but otherwise, Married at First Sight and Live PD are our faves
heartandstars : “Also – this is probably kind of woo-woo but I’ve started doing positive thinking and repeating positive mantras and positive visualization about being pregnant and how its okay to be pregnant. It can’t hurt right? Certainly helps with the negative feelings I have.”
my SO and I actually looked up car seat safety ratings and carriers and made a secret Amazon list of things we liked (including a crib!). It was a first. Idk why it felt like progressing, as I clearly canʻt even confirm O this cycle, but idk, maybe if I wish it real, it will be? le sigh
Welcome to the lucky month of March, ladies!!
lucky_charm : fx your doctor gives the thumbs up for trying naturally this month!!!!!! I’ve heard about outlander but will have to check it out.
angel_baby_12_9 : so hoping the clomid does the trick for you. So sorry about your losses. The grief following that never really goes away, but instead gets a tad easier to carry as time goes on. Shift work is difficult…I work 3rd shift the majority of the time. I use Ava literally just for temping. It has made things sooo much more clear and less stressful for me. Fx your doctor has some answers or something new to try if you don’t get a BFP this month but I’m rooting for you!! Love all the Chicago’s but I’m so so so behind I’ll have to do some catchup, cuz I think they’re on Hulu?
tulipdazey : fx this new cycle and the new doctors bring some new solutions!! Crossing my fingers for you this month 😍 love all the shows you listed. A million little things is catching my full attention lately. I can’t wait for each week’s episode.
heartandstars : yay for IVF appointments!!!! I have started wishing a child into my life and repeating positive mantras to myself the last few months too. I’m not sure it is bringing a child into our lives any faster, but it is helping my mental state along the way at least!! I have started researching car seats and stuff too, and have private registries (dates set as far out as they can go) in a couple sites to keep things organized. I don’t think it’s a bad thing at all!!! Keeps my mind busy too. I love research.
danakxox : I’m gonna have to watch married at first sight and the Ted Bund tapes for sure – both have been on my lists to watch. Lol. Hoping for O confirmation soonnnnnn!!!!
AFM while I was sleeping today, I got a call from the nurse at our RE office saying the pharmacy I had brought the script to for the Ovidrel for IUI couldn’t get it, and my heart instantly started racing. Then she said the nurse who received the call already checked with my insurance and sent the script to another pharmacy that can get it for sure, and it’s right across the street from the RE office so I’ll be able to pick it up on Saturday when I have my follicle check! Perfecto! Nerves were calmed instantly. I already got an email that it is ready, too.
